As the capital city of Tuscany, located directly on the river Arno, Florence is a city with warm summer periods and humid winters. It is famous for all its art and architecture of the renaissance. In 1982, the city center of Florence was also declared as world heritage by the UNESCO.

One of the most famous things to see while in Florence, is the Duomo. This cathedral has a dome faced with brickwork by the master builder Brunelleschi and a bell tower by Giotto.
